Mt Holdsworth - Jumbo Circuit

The Mt Holdsworth - Jumbo Circuit is a two to three day tramp involving a climb through beech-podocarp forest to some of the best alpine tops travel in the Tararua Forest Park.

This is a 24km loop with 3 huts and its highest point is Mt Holdsworth trig at 1470m. We completed the loop in two days, with an overnight stay in a very full Powell Hut!
