Start from the city and climb through historic pine forests to enjoy unbeatable views of the Wellington Harbour and the city from Mount Victoria Lookout. Follow purple markers to complete the walk. Steep in places, but worth it for the panoramic views.
Allow 1.5 hours to walk the full 4.6 kilometre loop from Courtenay Place up Majoribanks Street to the summit and back via Oriental Bay (https://wellington.govt.nz/recreation/outdoors/walks-and-walkways/across-the-city/mount-victoria-loop)
